Sierra Cascades Dialog Agenda and Registration Information – May 10

From Mike Chapel, Forest Service:

Attached please find the agenda for the May 10th Sierra Cascades Dialog.  This time, we will discuss adaptive management.  We will learn what the new national planning rule says about adaptive management and we will hear about an ongoing collaborative adaptive management project in the Sierras – the Sierra Adaptive Management Project or SNAMP.  We will use this information to discuss how we might approach adaptive management during the next round of forest planning.

We hope you will join us again at the Garden Pavilion for this important discussion.  In response to some of your input, we are trying to arrange for a webcast this time so people on eastern Sierra can join us from Bishop if they wish.  We will forward the details on that as soon as we have them.

Below is the link that will take you to our new website (still under construction) where you can register.  Please don’t register unless you plan to join us at the Garden Pavilion.  We will pass along instructions for joining from Bishop when we are certain that we can arrange for a satellite location there.
