Thank you for submitting a FY11 CFLRP pre-proposal.  Twelve pre-proposals were received and considered by a SLMBOD panel on January 18.  I have approved 6 pre-proposals for full development prior to the WO 2/18 due date, we anticipate with the combined pre-proposals on the Klamath, the region will advance 5 fully developed proposals to the WO. The approved proposals are:

2.        Klamath NF – The “Mid-Klamath River Communities” pre-proposal and the “Upper South Fork Salmon River” pre-proposal are both approved with direction to combine them into a single proposal
3.        Modoc NF – Sage Steppe and Dry-Forest on the Modoc Plateau
4.        Lassen NF – Burney Creek/Hat Creek Community Forest and Watershed
5.        Tahoe NF – Middle Fork of the American River Restoration

The other six are:

1.        Eldorado NF – American Forest Landscape
2.        Eldorado NF – Northern Eldorado
3.        Six Rivers NF – Lower Mid-Klamath River Landscape Restoration
4.        Plumas NF – Plumas
5.        San Bernardino NF – San Bernardino
6.        Sequoia NF – Oak Ridge
