Mokelumne Watershed Project in the Conservation Registry
The upper and lower Mokelumne watersheds are included in the Conservation Registry as project number 17170, Mokelumne Watershed Project. This is the project underway supported by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy, Defenders of Wildlife, and Sustainable Conservation.
A study including this project was released this month by EcoAgriculturePartners, entitled “Innovations in Watershed-Based Conservation in the United States, Payments for Watershed Services for Agricultural and Forest Landowner”.
