The Amador Ranger District of the Eldorado National Forest is planning a field trip for members of the Amador Calaveras Consensus Group (ACCG) to the Power Fire Ecological Restoration Project Area on Friday November 16, 2012.  Those planning on attending will meet at 9:00 am at the Amador Ranger District Office, 26820 Silver Drive, Pioneer, CA 95666.

The primary focus of the Forest Service proposal is how best to restore the 14,000 acre project area, and includes fuel reduction, including prescribed burning and mechanical treatments, and reforestation, including how much and by what methods.

The NEPA analysis for this project has not been initiated. A separate notification will occur at the time the NEPA analysis is initiated.
