The Stanislaus National Forest anticipates hiring temporary, seasonal (1039 hr.) positions for the 2014 field season. A wide variety of jobs are available in archaeology, botany, business administration, recreation, timber, trails, wildlife and wildland firefighting.
Listed on the following pages are temporary employment opportunities for the 2014 field season.
These positions are located at various offices and stations throughout the forest (Groveland CA, Hathaway Pines CA, Mi-Wuk Village CA, Pinecrest, CA and Sonora, CA).

Many of these positions require physical exertion, in rough terrain, in a full range of weather conditions. Work week schedules vary depending on the position. Forest Service housing may be available. Many positions and project work require camping out for extended periods.
